In this work, we present a novel high-order mode leaky wave antenna. The antenna is designed to operate at the TM_11 mode, while typical leaky wave antennas (LWAs) operate on their fundamental mode, e.g., TE_10. The proposed design is compared to the equivalent fundamental mode LWAs showing a significant increase of 5.64dB - 6.67 dB in gain.
