abstract

  • We present wireless power transfer system capable of continuously charging smartphone while moving around in the room. The system comprises of rectangular patch antenna array with 1 W power radiating at 2.45 GHz, and receiver with rectenna and power management circuit providing 4.2 to 5.3 V DC output suitable to charging smartphone up to 6 feet away from transmitter while moving around the space.
