abstract
This study aimed to machining of prototyping dynamic foot prosthesis without joints, made of polymeric material. The prosthesis is aimed at satisfying the needs of people with disabilities within the Mobility Level 2, according to the profile of the protocol of the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA). The piece was machined into a Center of Numerical Control 4-axis due to its complexity, and manufactured both in Polyoxymethylene (POM) and polyamide (PA). At the end of the study was decided that the machined prosthesis with POM had a better finish.
