The use of assisted reproductive technologies has become commonplace, particularly in the United States and other wealthy regions of the world. But how well do we understand the effects of these interventions on the infant's health? Do conceptions involving ART bring risk? At this point, the numbers are mostly reassuring. © 2005 American Society for Reproductive Medicine Published by Elsevier Inc.
