abstract

  • In this paper, a data-centric communication framework is proposed for energy transactions in multiagent-based multimicrogrid systems, where market players compete together through a decentralized market framework. To do the transactions, the Data Distribution Service (DDS) is used as a data-centric communication middleware and data objects are defined based on the market structure and required data formats. To ensure about the market players' authentication and correctness of messages, a two-step security measure is implemented to check the user authentication, encrypt/decrypt the messages and control the market players' access to topics through an effective key management mechanism and access permission profile. This approach is optimized by defining an ID management scheme over the DDS topics, which will result in reducing the number of topics within the DDS domains and facilitates data exchange among participants.
