abstract

  • The advent of Device-to-Device (D2D) communication provides the capability of direct connection between mobile devices. Consequently, the communication burden on base station (BS) is decreased and the capacity is improved. In the hybrid mode, one channel is allocated to two communications. First, between traditional cellular user and BS and second, between D2D mobile terminals. Therefore, each communication poses interference on the other one. To combat this problem, power control (PC) could be used. In this paper, game theory is utilized to perform PC. Two types of games are considered. Leader- Follower game as a non-cooperative game and Nash bargaining as a cooperative game are developed. These games are solved analytically and simulation results verify the superiority of Nash bargaining over leader-Follower game.
