abstract

  • This article briefly reviews the literature on corporate reputation. It overviews a few of the major conceptualizations of corporate reputation, along with a number of reputation antecedents found in prior studies. The article next discusses international aspects of reputation and the general need for future research examining the reputation construct in an international context. Finally, it addresses some measurement issues, while also comparing and contrasting two prominent alternative reputation measures.
