abstract
In this paper we study the inverse scattering problem and the inverse boundary value problem for the Dirac operator with compact supported potential. We prove a 'gauge equation' for two potentials of arbitrary forms when their corresponding scattering amplitudes at fixed energy or Dirichlet-to-Dirichlet maps are the same. We also use this equation to determine the generalized magnetic potential up to a gauge equivalent class. © 2007 IOP Publishing Ltd.
