abstract

  • We describe a novel method to generate smart aptamer-based biosensors capable of fluorescently reporting the presence of their molecular target via binding induced conformation change of the probes. These self-reporting aptamers (SRA) were selected in a microfluidic device, and they show high specificity and low nanomolar affinity towards the intended target (human α-thrombin). © 2009 CBMS.
