Planning executives participated in a university-sponsored workshop that focused upon behavioral issues in strategic planning systems. Thirteen basic issues were identified and solutions for the two most critical issues noted. Observations about the way managerial thinking influences the resolution of issues encountered in planning systems are discussed.
