abstract

  • Volume integral equations (VIEs) were derived for modeling the scattering by volumes having non-trivial permittivity and permeability. The derived VIEs involved a single unknown. The goal was to demonstrate that no surface integral is needed at the boundaries where the permittivity are discontinuous. FE-BI results were given for validation purposes.
