abstract

  • The application of prismatic elements to finite element (FFM) analysis along with artificial absorbers for mesh truncation is studied. The ease of generating the prismatic volume mesh combined with the accuracy and conformal applicability of the artificial absorber termination schemes provides an efficient analysis tool for antenna and scattering applications. As can be seen from the examples, results are good agreement with the reference data.
