  • The first diffraction coefficients for impedance half planes and wedges (see Fig. 1) were presented by Senior [1,2] and Maliuzhinets [3,4]. Uniform versions of these were later developed by Volakis [5] and Tiberio et.al. [6] making them useful for computational toolsets. For the latter, an important development was the introduction of simplified analytical expressions for the associated split function [7] and Maliuzhinets integrals [8], allowing for quick evaluation of the diffraction coefficients. © 2012 IEEE.
