The form factor CA5(0) present in the weak N-Δ axial-vector transition amplitude (ΔAμπN)-important in describing lepton-induced Δ production processes-is calculated using a broken symmetry algebraic approach to QCD without using the hypothesis of partial conservation of axial-vector currents and without using unbroken symmetry models such as SU(6). © 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
