Papers presented at the 1995 ASME International mechanical Engineering Congress and Exhibition are shown. The papers include cover both experimental investigation and numerical modeling of practical and innovative energy exchange systems. Also shown is the study of the flow structure in three-phase flows through a vertical column Eulerian approach, which has been used for each of the three phases in formulating the problem. Finally, evaluation of engine coolant flow, boiling conditions, and forced convection heat transfer from an isothermal melting ice phase submerged in flowing water are shown.
