abstract

  • The main component of Proyecto SERAS is the professional development of teachers in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The methodology and materials used were developed by Project VISION and Project MASTT, both funded by NASA. The key to success for Proyecto SERAS lies in the strong partnership formed by the private and public sectors in which all partners play a role to achieve quality and systemic change. SERAS is now looking at an opportunity to expand its services by means of the use of web-based technologies. This project is funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. © 2005 IEEE.
