  • High performance steel cost comparison was studied. The relative costs of steel designs of HPS-70W and conventional grade 50W were compared. It was found that the use of HPS-70W resulted in weight and depth saving for all span lengths and girder spacing and its cost is 20% greater than 50W steel.
