Mariana Viera-Navarro is a physician assistant with 20 years of clinical experience who serves as an instructor for the MPAS program and a healthcare provider at the FIU Health Faculty Group Practice. She teaches endocrinology, immunology, dermatology, and rheumatology.
Prior to joining FIU in 2021, PA Viera-Navarro practiced in the fields of allergy and immunology, and functional medicine. She is the recipient of six consecutive laboratory excellence awards by COLA for her supervisory role in a high-complexity immunology laboratory. Her particular interest is in the evaluation and management of food allergies and anaphylactic reactions.
