Carrie Sanchez is a strong believer in active learning and student engagement. She combines her academic knowledge and practical experiences to develop her face-to-face, hybrid and online courses.
She has taught at Florida International University’s School of International and Public Affairs, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Department of Global Leadership and Management and the Office of Engagement’s Urban Potential Laboratories Health Care Program. Moreover, she has been on the faculty at the University of Memphis’ College of Business & Economics and department of Public and Nonprofit Administration, and Miami Dade College’s department of Social Sciences.
She brings experience in senior management roles in higher education administration in areas of student and alumni affairs and assessment and testing. In addition to her academic experiences, she has served as an executive director of a 501 (c)(3) health clinic and a private Family Medicine practice. As an entrepreneur she has extensive experience in entrepreneurship and consulting in the healthcare, hospitality and small business industry.
