A leader, strategist, and liaison in the design and implementation of CARTA’s mission-driven initiatives, Katie Rothfield, LEED AP, ID+C, IDEC, NEWH is also an award-winning interior architecture educator, NCIDQ certified interior designer, and champion for student success with nearly two decades of professional experience. She earned her BA in Clinical Psychology and a minor in Studio Art from Tufts University, an MFA in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and she studied at several renowned institutions, including the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Maine Media Workshops + College, and Queensland College of Art. Her recent accolades include FIU awards for Engagement Beyond the Classroom and Excellence in Teaching, the NEWH South Florida Chapter Silver Star Award, and the IIDA South Florida Chapter Educator of the Year Award.
