  • Dr. Tatayana Maltseva is a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Assistant Professor of Undergraduate Nursing at the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

    Dr. Maltseva is a national recognized expert in nurse psychiatry, with numerous books, journal publications, and presentations highlighting the research she has completed in the field of mental health.

    Since her start at FIU, her research has centered on nurse education and practice including inter-professional care in psychiatry and innovative educational programs to Enhance Cultural Sensitivity.

    She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Masters of Science in Nursing from Florida International University, and her PhD in Nursing from Barry University.
