biography

  • Prior to joining Florida International University, Dr. Henry was an EDP/Performance Audit Advisor for the United States Department of the Treasury. Dr. Henry has more than twenty years of auditing experience, specializing in EDP and information technology. Dr. Henry is an active member and acknowledged speaker for the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (formerly EDP Auditors Association). His doctoral research explores the characteristics of identity documents, to determine what makes them credible.

    More recently, Dr. Henry was elected as the first and only US-based member to serve on the board of directors for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). ACCA is the global body for professional accountants. Founded in 1904, it now supports 140,000 members and 404,000 students across the globe, helping them to develop successful careers in accounting and business, based on skills required by employer.
