Dr. Haynes is a highly experienced physician assistant who has been practicing for over 20 years. She currently serves as a faculty member for the Physician Assistant Sciences Program. Prior to joining FIU, Dr. Haynes worked as an Associate Professor and Clinical Education Director for the Physician Assistant Sciences Program at Meharry Medical College. She has also served as Deputy Clinical Coordinator and Adjunct Faculty for the Phase II Interservice Physician Assistant Sciences Program (IPAP) at Fort Belvoir, VA. During her career, Dr. Haynes has worked in various fields such as orthopedic surgery, podiatry, dermatology, pain management, urgent care, and internal medicine. Her particular interests lie in orthopedic surgery, pain management, mentoring, and recruitment of minority students
