Dr. Donna Davis earned her MPH in Health Policy and Administration at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and EdD in Continuing Professional Education at North Carolina State University. She has met the certification standards established by the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE). Her areas of practice include public health policy and workforce development, specifically applying theory to practice and using implementation science to build bridges between research and policy. She is a former Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Currently, she serves on the Education Board and the Joint Policy Committee of the American Public Health Association (APHA).
