Dr. Prakash Dilip Chaudhari holds an M.Sc. in Drug Chemistry from the University of Pune, Maharashtra, India, and furthered his academic journey by earning a Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry with a focus on asymmetric synthesis from the National Chung Cheng University (NCCU), Taiwan.
Following the completion of his Ph.D., Dr. Prakash contributed to academia and research as a postdoctoral fellow at both National Chung Cheng University and National Taiwan University in Taiwan, as well as at Louisiana State University (LSU), USA.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Prakash has hands-on industry experience. Prior to pursuing his Ph.D., he accumulated 5 years of valuable experience in various pharmaceutical companies, where he specialized in API process development. This background provided him with a practical understanding of pharmaceutical operations.
Dr. Prakash also worked to the drug discovery field during his tenure at Aragen Life Sciences (formerly known as GVK). Serving as an Associate Scientist in the drug discovery department.
research interests
Design and synthesis of small molecules and heterocyclic combinatorial libraries. As well as mixture-based chemical libraries for identification of highly active antimicrobial compounds, potent analgesic, and novel anti-tumor agents.
