  • Dr. Yasmine N. Campbell is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Nurse Anesthesiology Department at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Florida. She brings over 28 years of clinical healthcare experience, including 20 years in anesthesia.
    Dr. Campbell earned a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in anesthesia from Barry University, completing these degrees in 2006 and 2015, respectively. She is also a graduate of the University of South Florida’s post-graduate Nurse Educator Certificate program. In 2022, Dr. Campbell earned the Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential, endorsed by the National League for Nursing, and holds certification as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE).
    Dr. Campbell serves as Co-Chair of the Florida Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (FANA) Research Committee, where she reviews scholarly posters and supports the dissemination of research. She also serves as Chair of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) Education Committee. In addition, Dr. Campbell is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and serves on the FIU chapter's governing board.
