Dr. Yasmine N. Campbell is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Florida International University (FIU) in the Nurse Anesthesiology Department in Miami, Florida. Dr. Campbell has worked in the clinical setting for over 26 years and in the specialty of anesthesia for 18 years. Dr. Campbell earned a master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia and a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a Specialization in Anesthesia from Barry University, Classes 2006 and 2015, respectively. Dr. Campbell is also a graduate of the University of South Florida post-graduate Nurse Educator Certificate program. She recently completed her Certified Nurse Educator certification endorsed by the National League of Nursing in 2022. Dr. Campbell also provides mentorship to the Diversity CRNA resume and personal statement committee and is Co-Chair on FANA Research Committee, where she reviews posters and is a mentor for the NBCRNA CPCA writing committee. Dr. Campbell is also on the education committee at the Jamaican Nurses Association of South Florida and the Jamaica Diaspora. She reviews scholarship applications and presents internationally to nurses in Jamaica on education. Dr. Campbell is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and is a governance member at the FIU chapter.

She brings over 28 years of clinical healthcare experience, including 20 years in anesthesia. Dr. Campbell earned a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in anesthesia from Barry University, completing these degrees in 2006 and 2015, respectively. She is also a graduate of the University of South Floridaâs post-graduate Nurse Educator Certificate program. In 2022, Dr. Campbell earned the Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential, endorsed by the National League for Nursing, and holds certification as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). Dr. Campbell serves as Co-Chair of the Florida Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (FANA) Research Committee, where she reviews scholarly posters and supports the dissemination of research. She also serves as Chair of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) Education Committee. In addition, Dr. Campbell is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and serves on the FIU chapter's governing board.
