Brent W. Campbell teaches Public Speaking, Intercultural/Interracial Communication, and Business and Professional Communication courses at Florida International University. Professor Campbell holds degrees from Miami-Dade College, Florida Atlantic University, and Barry University. Following a twenty-year career rising to Senior Staff at the IBM Corporation, he entered the Higher Education arena teaching varied Communication courses first at Palm Beach State College followed by faculty posts at Kaplan University, Keiser University, and Barry University utilizing both Online and On Ground formats. Professor Campbell was honored to be appointed by two Florida Governors to serve as Vice Chairman of their High-Tech Business Councils. As a former Boy Scout leader and Eagle Scout, Professor Campbell ascribes and lives by the values of truth, honesty, trustworthiness, courtesy, kindness, reverence and loyalty in both words and actions. His mantra is the student comes first when teaching in the classroom and motivates each student to excel and exceed their expectations. Professor Campbell's personal interests include gardening, Scottish heritage, music appreciation, proud parent of two canine children, wonderful Son, Daughter, and two lovely Grandchildren, and blessed with a beautiful wife.
