Jamal T. Bracken is a physician assistant with 13 years of experience in health care. Bracken teaches infectious diseases and assists in other didactic coursework. In addition, he serves as a faculty liaison for the Green Family Foundation Neighborhood Health Education Learning Program (NeighborhoodHELP). Before joining FIU as faculty, Bracken practiced as a physician assistant in primary care, infectious disease, and psychiatry.
