Bianca, M.D., Alfonso is the endocrinology faculty preceptor for third-year students on the internal medicine clerkship. She is also a mentor for students interested in internal medicine and endocrinology. Alfonso has an active practice specializing in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. She participates in the development of the curriculum for the second-year Endocrine course. She is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.
